MassDCR is making me a ⭐️🫤‼️… all to celebrate Jug End Reservation and publicize this Saturday’s apple tree trimming and preservation effort.

Check out MassDCR video we made last Friday... and come with saws and pruners and loppers (and gloves and water bottles, too) this Saturday morning 9:30-12:30 to rejuvenate Jug End Apple Orchard.

I’ve been here with a cadre of lovers of Jug End at least once a year since 2012, cutting back the invasive from these struggling apple trees as my service project from my days at One Spirit Seninary and Learning Alliance. It has been my joy to care for and shepherd these nature beings in their elder-hood, helping to reclaim for them their joy in life! Another quite sensual way I live my ministry!

I have a brag… In the best sense of the word.

For at least 11 years I have been doing a service project from my years @1spiritorg interfaith seminary bringing people twice a year to Jug End state conservation area to cut away the bittersweet that was killing the apple trees in that orchard.

Every year I get approval from the state to do the project. In the last couple of years, they have been helpful and put up signs so that more people know about the day and will come help.

My big brag!?!?! Today I was interviewed by the people from the Boston office of Mass DRC for their Instagram/YouTube/Twitter promo about Jug End Reservation in South Egremont and my semi-annual work day … next Saturday March 30. Watch their site next week! I’ll be there championing the preservation of this orchard and the beauty of Nature. Bring your loppers and gloves and come join me???
